The VW G13 coolant is a very specific type of anti freeze.  It is NOT to be mixed with any of the generic green or dex-cool anti freeze's.  If this it done the result is usually a sediment forming inside your cooling system.  This can cause your vehicle to overheat by clogging up your cooling system.

The VW G13 coolant is a very specific type of anti freeze.  It is NOT to be mixed with any of the generic green or dex-cool anti freeze’s.  If this it done the result is usually a sediment forming inside your cooling system.  This can cause your vehicle to overheat by clogging up your cooling system.
If you must add something to your cooling system please use distilled water until you can get the proper coolant. This is a temporary solution, as you do not want to dilute your coolant too much.
